Office of Distance Education Sponsors Educational Technology Showcase

 

Come see what’s growing in distance education at the Educational Technology Showcase, sponsored by the Office of Distance Education.

 

The event will be on Thursday, October 2 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Room 1103-A Houston Cole Library.

 

Featured presentations from the campus community include:

 

• “Locked Down, But Free to Succeed,” by Ms. Amanda Bonds, Ms. Kim Craven, and Ms. Kim Hollingsworth of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences;
• “Glued to the Tube,” by Ms. Jennifer Foster, Department of English;
• “Camtasia Fantasia: Software to Improve Instruction,” presented by Dr. Andy Ciganek, Department of Mathematical Computing and Informational Sciences; and
• “Online Learning: The Opportunity to Meet the Needs of Today’s Students,” by Dr. Patricia Borstorff, Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Management.
