The January meeting of Academe will be on Monday, January 26 at 3:15 p.m. in 1101 C, Houston Cole Library.

Dr. James Rayburn of the Department of Biology and Ms. Kim Craven, College of Nursing and Health Sciences instructor, will share their successes in using clicker technology in their classrooms to gauge student understanding of materials and to provide instant feedback for the instructors. This technology is relatively new, but is one that may provide classroom instructors with better assessment of how their teaching is being received by the students in their classes.
