Jason is originally from Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina but spent eight years teaching in South Korea, where he also earned his Masters Degree at Sogang University. He has a passion for traveling, learning languages and making sure students have a fun time!

Cindy Jeffers

Cindy Jeffers is a native of Dekalb County, Alabama.  Cindy came to Jacksonville State University in September 2003. After working in Emergency Management, she moved to the English Language Institute in 2005. First as secretary and then program coordinator.  In November 2017, she moved to the International House as coordinator of international admissions.  Cindy has a special interest in international students and their educational needs.

Flor is a sophomore majoring in English Language Arts. She is from Guanajuato, Mexico, but now resides in Dothan, AL. She is currently a resident of the International House and member of the International Student Organization (ISO).

Balqees Hijazeen

Balqees is known in the International House as Bella. She is from Zarqa, Jordan. Bella is a junior at JSU majoring in Business Management. She is currently staying in the International House. Bella believes she is blessed that she is going to work with the staff at the International House since they are part of the family and she doesn’t have to walk or drive to get to her job.

Sabin Banjara

Sabin Banjara is an international student from Nepal, the country of Himalayas. He is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science and is interested and fascinated by information technology. He is one of the members of International House and a vice-president of Lambda Sigma Honor Society, and he loves to work with diverse groups of people.
