Angela Camp

Angela Camp holds a Masters in Counseling from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She has worked in the mental health and addictions field for 29 years, 17 of which have been with Bradford Health Services. Currently Angela is the Director of Strategic Engagement. In this role, she oversees corporate community and professional engagement, including branding and quality assurance of all live and digital educational events and conferences regionally, statewide and on a national level.

She is also the current Board President of the Alabama School of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies (ASADS). She presents to professionals across the country on various topics including addiction, adolescent and young adult development, drug trends, social media, treatment, legalization, digital addiction, bullying, and parenting.

Sunny Slaughter

Sunnetta "Sunny" Slaughter is the CEO and Principal Consultant of Sunny Slaughter Consulting, LLC. She is a noted crime, policy and intersectional subject matter expert offering over 30 years of personal and professional experience across a broad spectrum of interpersonal crimes, public health policy, social justice, human rights and civil rights issues. Sunny has provided subject matter expertise in litigation cases for counsels of the defense, plaintiff, the Courts, law firms, government agencies, NGO's, corporations and families of missing and exploited children.

Sunny has worked as a subject matter expert with news anchors and journalist developing background information for investigative reports and news stories, while also serving as an on-camera Crime Analyst for international and national media outlets including; ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN/HLN After Dark and Trinity Broadcast Network. She has been identified as a Master-Connector, dubbed the Olivia Pope of Crime and delivered a powerful TEDx talk titled "What are you really willing to do for others?".

Christine Smart

Christine Smart is a Certified Comp/TIA Professional Trainer for AIDT. Since 2005, she has presented leadership and quality subject material through training classes. Christine travels throughout the state and has presented over 230 Leadership courses and more than 400 Quality classes. Christine’s background includes 20 years of service in the United States Army. She perfected her leadership skills and teaching techniques in the military before retiring in 1995 as an Acting First Sergeant. Ms. Smart has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Talladega College and an Associate of Arts Degree in Administration of Justice from East Los Angeles College.

James Spann

Serving as Chief Meteorologist for ABC 33/40 for 22 years, James can be seen weeknights at 4, 5, 6, and 10 o'clock. In all, James has been a television weather anchor for 40 years. He has won an Emmy for best television weather anchor in the Southeast U.S. and has received the two highest awards in the nation for a broadcast meteorologist.

James is the Chairman of the Board of Grandview Medical Center, a member of the Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity Alumni Hall of Fame, the University of Alabama School of Communication Hall of Fame, and sits on the steering committee of The Verification of the Origins of Rotation in Tornadoes EXperiment-Southeast (VORTEX-SE).

James and his wife Karen have been married for 37 years and have two sons. In his spare time, James enjoys tennis and amateur radio.
