Dual Enrollment Orientation Information and Schedule
Event Information
Check-in
The orientation will begin at Merrill Hall, where you and your guest, if attending, will check-in and receive your event information. Your pre-event email will contain a link to your personalized QR code for check-in. Please have your QR code ready when you arrive. Check out the agenda for the day below to see what sessions and events are scheduled.
Guests
A maximum of one guest per student is permitted at Dual Enrollment Orientation. Walk-up attendees and extra guests will not be admitted.
Parking
Plan to park in the lots to the side of Merrill Hall. Our staff and Dual Enrollment Student Representatives will be stationed in these areas ready to direct you, once parked. See our campus map for more information.

First Day Prep
- Review of Jax State student systems, accounts, and apps. Account log-in assistance.
Class Registration
- Assistance for students not yet registered for courses in MyJaxState
11:00 AM – End of Orientation Event
Optional Campus Activities After Morning Orientation:
11:30 AM – Lunch on Campus (on your own). View our dining options!
2:00 PM – Campus Tour with the Office of Campus Visits.
